The Role

In OptiGroup IT, where most of our IT services are outsourced you will focus on the tactical and operational areas of M365 Services, Workplace solutions and End User support ensuring that delivery and cost efficiency are met together with never ceasing continuous improvements supporting OptiGroup’s business applications in its daily operation.

In short you will:

  • Manage M365 Services, Workplace solutions, and end-user support,
  • Focus on tactical and operational delivery, cost efficiency and continuous improvement to support OptiGroup’s business applications.
  • Need to have knowledge of handling hardware (Computers, tablets and printers), application packaging, client hardening and be good at supplier relations, as we work closely with our partners. 

In addition, its an advantage if you have a great personal interest in technology, and a meritorious if you have experience with SOTI and similar mobility solutions, as it is part of the scope out in our warehouses.

Work tasks:

  • Global roll out of our defined, standardized Workplace solution as our single point of contact including the structure and processes in end-user support structure. This includes stakeholder management internally and externally with our vendor.
  • Service Ownership, defining and documenting the service strategy, objectives, and roadmap, accountable for the overall performance, availability, and user satisfaction.
  • Service Design and Improvement with stakeholder collaboration to design and improve IT infrastructure services, analyzing user requirements, identifying technical solutions, and implementing improvements that enhance the services.
  • Vendor Management relationships with partners and consultants delivering IT infrastructure services ensuring that SLA requirements and performance are met, incidents and problems are promptly addressed, and service requests are efficiently fulfilled.
  • Security and Compliance, ensuring that IT infrastructure services, comply with security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. You will collaborate with the IT security team to assess vendor security controls, manage data privacy, and address any security incidents within the IT infrastructure environments.
  • Stakeholder Engagement, including business users, department heads, and IT teams, to understand their needs, gather feedback, and ensure that the IT infrastructure align with the business objectives. Further communicating service updates, changes, and improvements to stakeholders, managing expectations and fostering strong relationships.
  • Continuous Improvement initiatives and analyzing service performance metrics, identify areas for enhancement, and work with service providers to implement necessary changes and optimizations to improve service delivery, reliability, and efficiency.

Competence & Personality

To be successful in this role you need to be social, structured, agile, with drive, stamina, expertise, a great sense of accountability and ambition for excellent IT operational efficiency. You are an effective and proactive and solution-oriented doer, mitigating areas of risk, thriving in taking the full ownership. You are very well versed in M365, workplace solutions, project management, change management, stakeholder management as well as gifted with excellent language skills in both English and Swedish. Moreover it is meritorious if you are ITIL certified together with a solid experience in incident management and case management.
